Now, when you think of Parisian food, I’m sure the first thing that comes to mind is luxury, romance and, most importantly, exceptionally costly service! Not going to lie, I thought the same thing too BUT Paris is FULL of a range of dining options.
Having recently been on a trip to Europe with a number of friends with varied budgets – when I say varied, I mean one friend was willing to spend above and beyond on food while another was more than satisfied with the ever-present varieties of street-food. Needless to say, this didn’t make for the easiest decisions when it came to food. However, among the debates, on the second night of our trip we decided on Chez Clement and here’s three reasons why you should definitely visit it on your trip to Paris!
Situated on the Champs Elysee less than a hundred metres from the Arc d’Triomphe, location is definitely one of the biggest selling points of this restaurant. It’s the perfect spot to kick back after a long, hard day of gallivanting around the undoubtedly most romantic city in Europe.
Recommendation: I personally visited this restaurant just before sunset and had a stunning view of the sun setting behind the Arc D’Triomphe, most certainly one of my favourite ‘Parisian experiences’!
Walking into this restaurant was an experience in itself. Decorated exquisitely and bursting with traditional Parisian decor that’s sure to melt your heart.
For me, this was definitely the biggest selling point of this restaurant as it embodied all my preconceptions of fine French dining!
Moderately priced, typically French cuisine awaits!
- Entree – I had the leek quiche, definitely my favourite course and I would recommend for you all to give it a try!
- Dessert – If you’re a lover of all things chocolate, look no further than this mouth-watering and decadent dessert! Très dèlicieux!
Overall, this restaurant is a must visit as it encompasses all thing French to give you a great meal, ambience and experience. I simply cannot recommend it enough!
